Coffee, Myths, and Mountains: The Story of Cascade Pine Coffee Co.

We started Cascade Pine Coffee Co. with a simple idea: good coffee should taste like the place it comes from. For us, that place is the Pacific Northwest — where the trees stretch tall, the air stays wild, and the stories are stranger than fiction.

Our roasts carry that same energy. Bold enough for Bigfoot, smooth enough for long mornings, and strange enough to keep the legend alive. From dark to light to decaf, each bag is inspired by the forests, mountains, and mysteries that make the Pacific Northwest home.

Meet Briston, Founder of Cascade Pine Coffee Co.

Cascade Pine Coffee Co. started with a simple belief:

Coffee should connect us to place, to story, and to each other.

For me, coffee has always been about more than caffeine. I shared cups with my grandmother on the porch in Oregon’s rainy Willamette Valley. I drank it from my grandfather’s dented Stanley thermos on early mornings in the mountains, taking in the views. Those moments rooted me in both family and land.

As a Klamath tribal member, I grew up surrounded by legends some passed down through family, others whispered on long days out in the wild. The longer you spend in nature, the stranger the stories become: Bigfoot, aliens, even the mythical jackalope. These tales, woven with the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, inspired me to bring that same spirit into Cascade Pine Coffee.

From choosing our roasting partner to shaping this brand, I’ve built Cascade Pine with people who understand the wild, the beautiful, and the weirdness of the PNW. My hope is that every bag brings you into that story.

Cascade Pine Coffee is based in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Every bag is roasted here in the Pacific Northwest with pride, consistency, and real care. Our beans are ethically sourced, lab-tested for quality, and roasted in small batches to bring out their best. We are a Native American owned business with deep roots in the PNW, and we carry that responsibility and respect into every roast we put our name on.
